About The Attorney
I am an attorney in Bellevue, Washington. I have an MBA and a law degree, which gives me a lot of depth in dealing with complex financial cases. I focus primarily on family law, including divorce, and personal injury cases. I am an Eagle member of Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ); and a member of the King County Bar Association and the Snohomish County Bar Association. I am a trial lawyer; I like advocating in court for my clients. I do an average of 5-6 trials a year, and I am in court on the motions calendar, in one county or the other, an average of 2-3 mornings per week. My philosophy is simple: I have been in court, in trial, and on the motions calendar a lot. I know what works and what doesn’t. I have a pretty good idea what the court is likely to do, given a fact pattern. My job is to win as much as we possibly can. At the same time, I don’t fight just to bill the time; I will always give you a good idea what your odds are and what a likely outcome is, so you know the risk. My role is to be your advocate; your attorney; but it’s also to counsel you so you make good decisions about your case. I do much of my own work. I get in early and answer email and phone calls promptly. I scan in and email you copies of everything important, so you get it quickly. Experience makes a huge difference in how your case turns out. Sometimes you may well find there is no case; or that it’s not worth pursuing. I’ll tell you that as well. I don’t want to take money from you, to fight cases we can’t win. Nobody is happy at the end of cases like that. But when you have to have a fight, or when you are in the middle of a fight, you want someone who has the experience to win. Call me.
